Pressure/ pain in vagina and into butt 2 weeks 2 days post hysterectomy..

I keep getting this pressure that feels like someone is trying to push my vaginal cuff down from the inside. It's a pressure like you'd feel if you had a tampon turn on its side. Hurts into my inner thighs/ butt. I'm also having a light pink clumpy/ watery discharge. Not much, though. What is going on?

Ive heard of a few others complain of a feeling like a tampon being stuck. In not sure what that is, but sounds like something is causing a nerve or maybe you strained something?? Just put a call into your Dr or talk to the nurse to ease your mind. I know we tend to disregard things bc we tend to feel embarassed about issues, bc we're not used to it; our Drs are used to it though. There's not much they havent heard.. I hope you feel better!

Hi, I am 3 weeks 3 days post op and I have been having the same pain this morning since I woke up. I was having a sharp pain behind my belly button yesterday.

Try icing it. A frozen pad works wonders. It is swelling. I hated that feeling. I would lay down and put a frozen pad or ice pac on the outside of my panties and it would go away. Dr. Said it is normal swelling. First time scared me to death I even checked to make sure nothing was coming out.lol

I had a bit of that myself, and just chalked it up to the many and various weird pains of this recovery. Ice packs really do work wonders. I bought the little hysterectomy pillow with the cold/hot packs, and it has been a life saver. I'm almost at week 7, and I still use it.
But an ice pack in any pillow will work wonders.

I've been having that same feeling. No discharge though. I'm 10 weeks post op and have been feeling that pressure feeling on and off for last couple weeks. Gonna call my doctor Monday to see what's up.
