Externally very sore

Thank you all so much for your input and support.

I went to my appt on Friday and saw the FNP at the office. She was much different to talk with than the dr., I may ask for her more often.

I believe I am allergic to the Clobetasol ointment that was prescribed. When I stopped using it and took a couple of soaks in an epsom salts bath I felt much less irritation and burning. (Thanks to sister MindyMindyMindy for her advice.)

I did have a bit of lumpy discharge on Saturday so I decided to try the Terazole again since the burning had stopped and it was okay. I got my culture results today and they came back negative for both bacteria and yeast. I told the nurse about the lumpy discharge Saturday and she said it was possible since I had used the Terazole Wednesday that it might have been enough to mess up the test Friday. So I am going to finish the course or Terazole since I seem to be able to tolerate that.

I told the FNP that I would like to try Vagifemm when this is all cleared up and I was given enough samples of Vagifemm to last me a couple of months.

I also shared with her about this site and she thinks it sounds great and is going to recommend it to patients.

I always ask to talk to the NP, they seem to be more tuned in to the whole person as opposed to the organ system (whatever the specialty). I am glad you got some relief. Mindy
