apologies if I have posted in the wrong section, I have joined this forum today as I should be having a hysterectomy in April (hopefully) it has been postponed a few times so am not totally certain at the mo....
anyway hoping I will be able to alleviate certain fears and gain some useful info from this site...

You are at the right place. This site is a great place to come for support and information. When you have a date, post it so we can be there for you. I found that waiting was really hard, but once you have a date, you can concentrate on your preparations. Good luck with everything.

Hi kevinnina and welcome. You've come to the right place. You will find excellent support and great info here. I found this site the day before my surgery. I love it here. Questions, concerns or whatever, there's always someone who has been through it, have gone through it, or knows somebody who has. This is an excellent community.
Check out the hysterectomy checkpoint section. There's great pre op and post op check points that you may find helpful. There's also a list of questions that may help you when talking to you doctor.
I'm glad that you are here and hopefully some you'll find answers to some or all of your questions . Just know that we are here for you
