Home from the Hospital after vaginal hyst and cystocele repair!

I made it!! I wasn't sure where to post this. I got the emails wishing me well and asking if I was home from the hospital yet! Thanks for the support.

I had a vaginal hysterectomy and also required a bladder "tie up" on 12/19. Didn't come home until last night(12/21) after supper as I was not emptying my bladder to doctor's satisfaction. Was to come home with a catheter - but at last attempt - did finally empty my bladder! YIPPEE!! So am home without the cath! I am pleased so far!! Will post more detail when I feel more like sitting! THANKS TO ALL WHO responded to my thread about my prolapse and all the advice - I was very prepered and knew what to ask and expect!!!

Sherry, I am glad that you are home and didn't have to bring the catheter with you. Rest and take it easy, check in when you can.
