Re: stinging sensation at incision site

Oh I felt that one and off for at least 4 weeks! I think it's definitely healing sensations and the nerves coming back.

I felt that too, it's getting to be less now but it still happens, alot of internal healing going on.

Gentle hugs for healing

waterdancer40, did you regain full sensation around the incision? I have no feeling to the touch about 2 inches around the incision. I have to be careful of leaning against countertops and pulling out drawers etc as to not bang into myself.

Re: stinging sensation at incision site

It is normal. I was told it was the internal stitches. Pulled. It went away.

nope pretty numb in several areas up to my bellybutton, and around the incision is completely numb still. A nurse at my dr.s office said the nerves can take up to 6 months to heal or possibly could never heal back to normal
