My doctor said I should have a TAH because i have an enlarged uterus, and it seems as though I am 6 months pregnant. I have no bleeding or pain, just uncomfortable at times. I am losing blood somewhere, because i have a very low blood count, which makes me borderline anemic. I learned about this site from a friend who had a TAH last year and told me about it. It has been very helpful, and I am very happy to be on here. Everyone seem to have great stories and i feel more comfortable now and at ease, because my TAH is scheduled for Feb.9th at 11:00. , your friend is right ( IMO ), this is a wonderful place to find hyst related info and get support. Don't hesitste to ask any questions that you may have, the ladies are very good with sharing info, experiences and hugs.
