I visit the castle tomorrow....so nervous! Oh, and a question?

Tomorrow is my day, and I am a nervous wreck. I keep second guessing myself thinking "maybe if I wait next month will be better" - as if this will all go away by itself. I am cramping horribly now and my back hurts like heck, so in reality I know that will not happen.

I do have a question though, I experience a lot of bloating and a 5+ lb weight gain each month when aunt flo visits. I will be keeping my ovaries - does anyone know if I will still experience the bloating and weight gain? I know my OB/GYN said my breasts will still get sore since I will still experience hormonal changes.

I had a TVH and kept boyh ovaries and I lost 10 pounds from surgery and haven't gained it back yet. I am 8 weeks out and no bloating or anything. Everyone's body is different though. Give it a few weeks after surgery to see and maybe you may need a water pill to help with the bloating. Good luck tomorrow it does get better!

I cant say to much about the wait gain I alway's go up and down. I can say I feel the bloating and for the tenderness in your breast I am feeling that now. Be encoraged hang in there and yes now is the time to do this I had to put the surgery off from June to July I now wish I had kept the June appointment.... My prayers are with you and know everything will be ok.

I kept my overies and it's been two months since my surgery and both months I have had the same symptoms......tender breasts, headache, craby, cravings. I haven't noticed any bloating, but I do still have the swelly belly most of the time.
All the best to you tomorrow!!! You will be fine the waiting by far is the hardest part. Take care of your self and be patient with your recovery.

I hope your surgery and recovery go well. I can tell you that some months I still bloat, and some aren't so bad. There have been ladies who have seen improvements with PMS so let's hope you are in that group!

I'm tomorrow too. Good luck to you. I still haven't packed either...can't seem to get it together. In denial maybe? I have to get off this computer and do something. Oh yeah, and drink another bottle of water before midnight!
