Fever 3 weeks post-op?

I had a TVH on 5/23, and have had no real issues since. However, I had a rough night last night, and today felt peaked all day. I felt my forehead this afternoon and realized I was warm. My temp was 99.9, which may sound normal, but since mine typically runs about 97.4, means I'm running a slight fever.

I'm inclined to think this is just some bug, since I'm three weeks post-op, but, I figured I'd check in with the board. I've had some discomfort/mild pain off and on since I went off the pain meds, and I don't think it is worse, except today I coughed, and really for the first time, it hurt when I coughed. However, I'm feeling queasy, so it is quite likely there is some gastrointestinal distress.

Complications are really rare this far out, right?

Not really. Call your doctor is your temp gets to be 100.4 or greater. please look up my username and click on my posts dated between easter and mid april. you will see all the post op infection posts that happened to me.
