To Every :

I am making a brief stop in to say and to let you know that I will be in your corner during your various recovery stages.

There might be some that are absolutely ready to get things underway as the anxiousness of waiting feels like it takes F O R E V E R! For the other sisters that are super nervous or scared, please take a deep breath. This is one more hurdle or stepping stone along a path that we face and with each, it makes us stronger.

1) Utilize your time to pick up last minute items you might need for your spot. For items such as moist wipes (I got them too), a small pillow, Gas X, Chapstick, Stool Softeners, ice packs ready for your tummy, Reading material or crossword puzzles along with a small pad of paper & a pen

2) Enjoy yourself by getting your hair dazzled up and/or trimmed. Have a /pedi done.

3) Put on some good and .

4) Take time out to with friends while having a meal out and/or have a date night with your spouse or s/o.

5) Follow your instructions as it truly does help.

6) Charge your portal electronic devices and have the cords near your recovery spot. That way when you are resting and have a chance to read the vast wealth of information here it is right by your side.

I will drop in every day on your Recovery Thread ( at the top of the Post Op Forum ) after your surgery. Once there you will be able to connect, share, bond and ask questions with other sisters that will be healing from surgery during the same week as you.
