Just got my date.

Well, just got word that my surgery is set for 6/19/02. They still have to pre-certify my surgery with my insurance. Hopefully nothing will go wrong there. I'm having a TAH/BSO for endo and who knows whatelse they'll find! I'm really nervous, but will be so happy to feel better. I'm so tired of complaining all the time that I'm tired, my back hurts etc. I try not to say a whole lot, but sometimes I can't even stand myself! Anybody else feel that way? I have been on BC pills without a break for 3 months (no period though!) and my hormones are going nuts. My face is breaking out, and I still have the PMS from **LL!! Thanks for listening!!! It's nice to be able to say how I feel and know that there has to be someone else out there that is going through this - there is isn't there?????????

You’re going to feel so good after your surgery! I’m 8-weeks post-op and I still find myself surprised at how good I feel.

My surgery is scheduled for June 19th also and I am going through exactly what you are. I have been on BCP's continuously since February and my hormones are all over the place. My doctor put me on Sarafem a couple of weeks ago to try and level me out. It has helped a little bit but not enough. I still am suffering with PMS and PMDD something awful. Sometimes the pain gets so bad and I feel like I will start my period at any second but it is just pain.

This date can not come fast enough for me. On one hand I am scared out of my mind, but on the other I just want to live pain free.

Thanks to everyone for listenting and replying! Donna - Sorry you are going through the same thing, but glad to know I'm not the only one going nuts!! Will definitely have to e-mail back and forth as the date gets closer. I'm going to start putting together a list of things to ask the doc. and to take with me to the hospital. This site has been great - and I've only been here a few weeks!
