TAH 7 weeks post total abdominal hysterectomy with a spotting incision

Hi ladies,
I am in my first week of returning to a very active job.... Yesterday I checked my incision and noticed a little bit of dried blood. It has not bleed at all today but there is a tiny hole where the blood came out. Has anyone else had trouble with the healing of their incision! I did go to the doc and nothing to be alarmed of. I'm thinking of getting a second opinion , I should not be bleeding a little or a lot, my thoughts. What are yours?

I agree with you. At seven weeks you should not have new bleeding. You are your own best advocate, if you are uncomfortable with your doctors answer, you should get another opinion. I would definitely keep an eye out for infection

I went to my GP and she referred me back to my GYN/Surgeon. The spot is still oozing a little bit of blood. I will call the nurse tomorrow to see what she says but in the meantime has anyone else experienced this? Any feedback would be great. I'm having on pain in the area.
