Face breaking out 2 weeks post hysterectomy

Anyone else big breakouts on face? I had robotic surgery everything but ovaries out. It will be two weeks tomorrow and my face seems to be breaking out horrible! Not use to this.

You are still in the early stages of recovery. Your ovaries as still in that state of panic and do not know what to do as their blood supply was interrupted. During this hiatus (which could last 6 weeks), they are trying to re-establish that source in order to provide your own body’s estrogen. You could go through various hormonal imbalances .

In my case, it took my ovaries 6 weeks to even sputter then an additional 3+ months to fully settle down and function. One thing I have done both before and after surgery is to wash my face with Neutrogena facial soap (which you can find at the grocery store). Also start journal of any symptoms that you encounter so that you have points of reference when discussing things with your doctor.
