Granulation Tissue: Your experience?

Hi there, I've had tons and tons of complications post DaVinci hyst (punctured bladder found a week later, 4-hour emergency bladder repair surgery, bilateral stents, cath for 4 weeks, two DVTs, one in right gonadal and one in IVC near lungs and hole in vaginal cuff, severe UTI) and now, of course, I have granulation tissue.

This tissue bleeds quite a bit, more with activity, and more than normal because I am on blood thinners (right now both warfarin and injectable, because I had to go off them for my stent removal and getting my INR back to theraputic range).

My question is this: What has been your experience? Has granulation tissue healed for you, or have you had to have surgery to repair/remove it? I desperately want to avoid any more surgery.

Re: Granulation Tissue: Your experience?

I went to my 8 week post op today and was told I need additonal surgery. I also have granulation tissue because the sutures have not yet disolved and are causing damage to the vaginal cuff. I am so frustrated and angry. Please let me know if you find anything out. He applied silver nitrate at my 6 week check but it didn't work.
