dVH/RALH: Had my pre-op for Wednesday's surgery!

It was my first time meeting the surgeon - LOVE her. They said surgery would take about 4 hours, and will be removing tubes, cervix, uterus, and appendix. I'll be in the hospital overnight (yay!). No eating after midnight, but can drink clear liquids until 30 minutes ahead of time (yay!). My prep is doing an antibacterial scrub the night before AND morning of, and an enema and douche AT the hospital after I arrive. Eep... No sex for 9 weeks, but all other restrictions lifted at 6 or sooner. She does 2-3 da vinci's a week - sometimes 2-3 a DAY, and said in the 5 years she's done them has only had ONE cuff tear with people who followed her directions - and that was someone with a connective tissue disorder. I'm gonna be following those directions. She told me I'd be up for Black Friday shopping - if hubby would carry the bags, lol! I'm excited and ready!

Wow, she said you'd be up for Black Friday shopping 2 days after your surgery? This gives me hope, my DaVinci is 12/1 and I was worried about how my shopping was going to get done, but this makes me feel better Good Luck!
