LAVH: Pre-Op Appointment Success

I appear to be one of the super lucky ones. I have a doctor who I trust immensely. He has been my doctor since I was sent to him at 14 when my problems began emerging...nearly 20 years ago!

Did my pre-op today. Blood work came back looking great. I don't have to take off my gel nails, no need for bowel prep (whew!!!!), and he's going to let me take the lead on how long I wish to stay in. We agreed on one night for sure but then we'll just play it by ear.

I thank you ladies for all of your support and answering so many of my questions the past few days. After today's 2.5 hour appointment full of labs/nurse visits/paperwork/doctor visit I feel like I'm really ready to do this. I'm ready to be out of pain and moving on!

I had mine today as well and I am feeling ready to put this all behind me!! I'm having an LAVH as well however it may turn into a TAH so i do have bowel prep
