has anyone had a hyterectomy because of PCOS?

I found this website while looking up info on a hysterectomy after just hanging up the phone with my GYN office. I am 29 and am sick and tired of being poked, prodded and biopsy'd. Does anyone here have info about this procedure and it's effects on PCOS?? I am so tired of fighting this! Sorry I'm so frustrated but I have been battling this for 12 years and I feel really angry right now. Thanks.

Here is info I recently received when inquiring about my hysterectomy and PCOS (which I also suffer from, but is not the reason for my TAH):

Simply removing the uterus and/or ovaries does not equate to curing PCOS. Ovarian cysts are merely the symptoms of the disease, not the disease itself. As you probably know, the underlying cause of PCOS is Insulin Resistance.

So right or wrong, I can't tell you, but it is info I received from Insulite Laboratories Research Team.
