So Sad, and at my WITS END!!!!
Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to share w/ you all that the Lovey D&C, and pelviscopy I had on Monday gave me NO RELIEF whats so EVER!!! I have been crying for two days, since I got my period. The nurse told me on Monday that I probably wouldn't get it, having surgery and all...and of course my body would NEVER SKIP a month. I am still hemmorraging, and the pain is so bad I was woken up to cramps at 4 am this morning, and blood everywhere! I started having a panic attack yesterday, and almost passed out! I told my husband that I refused to get in an ambulance or even go to the hospital! Once I realized that the D&C did nothing for me, I started to lose it! So, I went through a terrible week, only to find out that I NO LONGER have endo, and only scar tissue was found! I will refuse Lupron tommorrow when I see my dr, and I guess I am the only one that can help myself now. Obviously the DRs dont! Im sorry for sounding so negative but it has been a long ride for me, and I really thought this last procedure would prove to everyone, friends, family and Dr, that I needed the hyst! Now I have nothing! Sorry! Mary!

I am so sorry that you are feeling frustrated, confused, and are in pain. I am surprised that the nurse said that you would probably not have your period. I bled after both of my D&C's. I was also told to rest, and try to stay off my feet for 4 days.
You really should get another opinion, and try to find a doctor that you are comfortable with. You are correct in saying that you need to take care of your own health, finding a good doctor is part of that battle. Don't give up on doctors completely, there is one out there for you, it is a matter of actively seeking this doctor out.
I hope that you are feeling a little better today. {{{Hugs}}}

Adenomyosis possibility?
I would get a second opinion. Get a new dr. Did adenomyosis ever come into possible diagnosis? A laporoscopy won't diagnose that. A lot of times it can't even be seen because it's so deep in the uterine muscle and only pathology reports can detect it after a hysterectomy. I've read posts on here from people that had hysteretomy for scar tissue and pain alone. One had continous pain and didn't even find out that it was adeno until after the pathology report came back as adeno. Any idea on what dr felt on pelvic exam? (Soft, boggy, enlarged uterus is sometimes felt on exam) Do you pass clots? You may want to do a search on adenomyosis (endometriosis in the uterine muscle) as that could be a possibility. Get a new dr. This one sounds like he's not doing anything for you.

Unfortunately, most of the time the disease is scattered invisibly throughout the uterine muscle.
