8 weeks with a slight setback.

As some of you know I have been healing beautifully since my surgery. It really does a number on me when I think that my surgery was only 8 weeks ago because it seems as though my surgery was 8 months ago. I have had no bleeding since day 3 when I over did it at the grocery store and I was able to resume everything normal in my life other than sex at only 13 days post op. I resumed working out at 2 weeks and I went back to work full time at 5 weeks. I am very fortunate that I was able to move along so quickly. This weekend I was at my parents house and I was getting into our truck and I fell and landed across the seat right on my belly. I was very sore for a few days and that went away, but I have had unbelievable migraine headaches since then and tylenol and aspirin are not working. I cannot take NSAIDS (ibuprofen or naproxen) and I am out of ideas on how else to make my headaches go away. My doc said this shouldn't be related to the fall, but I do not know what else it could be. I had my first migraine within 30 minutes of the fall so it is the only thing I can think of that can be the cause. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be and how to get rid of this? Any help would be very much appreciated .

Re: 8 weeks with a slight setback.

Did you possible hit your head during the fall, or maybe strain your neck?It doesn't seem like the fall itself could cause the headache, but the timing of the onset sure sounds suspicious.I'm so sorry you have this migraine issue. Is it constant or on and off?

Re: 8 weeks with a slight setback.

I agree with cathb911 did you maybe pull something in your neck? Or get a crick in your neck or upper back? Have you tried using heat or cold pads to relieve whatever pain is there like at your neck maybe? So sorry I know migraines are no fun. (Hugs) hope you feel better soon.

Re: 8 weeks with a slight setback.

On and off. All of me got jarred around, but I don't recall hitting my head....maybe that is a sign that I did hit my head I never would have linked the two except for the timing. All of my previous migraines were tension induced from the neck so I am guessing I must have tweaked it somehow. I just wish I knew how to make it go away. I work in a very bright, very loud office and I am not looking forward going to work in an hour.
