Humorous view of early post-op

I've gone back to toddlerhood:

I've got spurts of energy with lots of naps.
I'm complaining wen I have to walk any distance
I'm drinking from a sippy cup (a reusable coffee cup with lid)
I'm obsessed with bodily functions (pee, pooping and farting)

I also want to get some red dye for my toilet. I don't recognize the bowl after I get up. What is this clear and yellow? I spent 4 months bleeding continuously so red is "normal".

Anybody got other ones?

Re: Humorous view of early post-op

When I get my own way, I whine and say that's not how I wanted it, then I have temper tantrums...

Re: Humorous view of early post-op

My mom and I had some good chuckles early on because neither of us ever thought that we'd be re-enacting the potty training phase during which I reported and described each poop.... nor had we ever thought she'd be burping me again, but she did do so several times that first few days (it really, really helped)

Then I became Al Bundy- parked on the couch with the remote, farting, burping and complaining.

Thanks for the (ouchy) giggles. My wonderful hubby is back to work, so I have a bedtime now, lol.
