No Discharge??

I am 10 days post op today and have not had any discharge whatsoever. Is this normal? Seems almost too good to be true...and I keep wearing a liner "just in case"! The insomnia & headaches.....well that's another story!!

No Discharge??

blondey,
You're from East Stroudsburg, Pa? I went to college at Mansfield University (graduated in '85). I started out at Slippery Rock State. Beautiful country down there! And hooray for the "no discharge"!!!

blondey,
Good luck with the 6 week check up! Back to work on Monday, huh? Dreadful! I go for my 2 week post-op on Wednesday. I'm going stir crazy recuperating at home here......haven't been able to drive yet either. I don't know if it's surgical menopause or what....but I can't sleep and have had a headache every day! But......NO DISCHARGE!!! Simple pleasures in life!

No Discharge??

I had no discharge at all from the day I left the hospital, so I think we're just lucky, it's in the normal range. I agree, it's great to not worry about that anymore!

No Discharge??

I never had a discharge of any kind once I left the hospital. While I was in the hospital (5 days; 2 days longer than expected) I was passing huge clots, which apparently was "old blood" left over from the surgery, so I figure my lack of discharge once I got out is only fair!

We're the lucky ones, I think.

No Discharge??

I too was suprized by the "small" amount of discharge after surgery. I had a TVH 6/10/05, no cuts whatsoever, but I did have vaginal packing that was removed the next morning after my surgery. It looked like a very long piece of guaze, and it was pretty bloody. After that, very little discharge though. It is a great "fringe" benefit. Thank God for the small blessings, huh?

Anybody else out there have vaginal packing like I described?

No Discharge??

Yep....I had the vaginal packing and honestly, didn't even feel it in there! My doctor removed it the morning after surgery and I thought she was NEVER going to stop pulling the gauze out! Seemed like 20 miles of gauze!
