Breast tenderness post-op

This is really weird. I have had breast tenderness ever since my surgery last Monday. They are really sore, especially the nipples (sorry TMI) and I don't understand why. Has this happened to anyone else?

I have been going through the samething with breast pains since my
surgery. They did a mamogram and said that they seen calcium and wanted
to do another one to make sure that I do not have cancer and said
everthing is ok. But I will like to know why I am having so much breast
pains aand also I notice that belly is some what big again.

I have had this off & on since my hyst. I think it is flucuating hormones but not sure if it's too much or to little or which hormone causes it. I'm going to ask my dr when I go in for my check up.

Hi CAmich.

I had exactly the same thing, breasts were tender but the nipples were really sore. It lasted, for me, a couple of weeks and they are absolutely fine now.

Breast tenderness, post-op, appears to be quite common ~ I had it also! I remember it lasting for some time, but did subside eventually.

I had my LSH yesterday and I, too, am experiencing the breast tenderness and tingling sensation in my nipple area. Does anyone have any suggestions to help with this? I kept my ovaries, but could this signal ovarian failure? I'm such a worrywort sorry. Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated!
