Flo's revenge!

My surgery next tues. and started today arrgghhh!!!last time though!!! yipeeee

Flo was scheduled to be here on my surgery date, and at the hospital she came hard! I just laughed at her and said see you later! Lol! 4 hours later, gone!!! Haha!!!

Well.. I eventually got the last laugh.. I had a relative of flo stay for 5 days after surgery

Pleased to report now day 12 and no spotting or anything since! She's gone for good! Yeah!

I swear - it's like she KNOWS.

I've just waved a FINAL goodbye to Aunt Flo, but this trip she certainly packed a punch - a last stand..."High Noon" in my little OK Corral. Even the ovaries got involved this time (they're usually pretty quiet and keep their mouths shut) and everyone was singing the blues.

(ok. I admit to being a little whimsical too. Though sometimes inconvenient, my visits with Aunt Flo have been uneventful since the age of 12 - I'm now 48 - predictable, painless and no PMS. So, I've never really resented her, but I am kinda tired of her.)

Tampon/pad bonfire!! who's bringing marshmallows??

got me thinking though...of all the funny euphemisms we've come up with for our Periods.

There's "Aunt Flo is visiting" of course.
My british husband says I'm "having the painters in".
"Miss Scarlett has come home to Tara".

What others?

My friend says this all the time it is kinda gross but in some cases very true, she says "i have a crime seen in my pants!" Lol told ya!

i thought it was quite funny the saturday before my surgery i started cramping so bad that i just knew uterus wanted last go before surgery.i told hubby flo was trying for one more time.i dont miss the extra 7 lbs i would carry around due to bloating but still got the pms.i can now wear white panties without fear of ruining them

If Flo were a criminal, she would have a long list of alias'
"The Crimson Wave". Then there is the gender bending "Red Baron" The more optimistic, out monthly "gift", I had some friends here in Texas that would say some cowboy related things like "riding the cotton pony" and the list goes on.....

Tell me about it ladies... today is day 20 and she doesn't seem to be letting up. Everyday is as heavy as Day 1.

Hopefully I'll have enough blood left in me to survive my surgery next Friday.

Needless to say, she's reinforced my decision to go forward!
