How soon did you schedule yours???

When I went for my second opinion on 1/12 and she confirmed a very similar diagnoses as my 1st DR. I felt comfortable with her and decided to move a head. It was all up to me ...I could have the first available date which was 1/27 but choice to have it 2/24 for work and family obligations.

So I would think many factors go into picking a date.

my SAH was scheduled 4 weeks after, it was supposed to be two weeks but as the Olympics are on they have to keep a certain number of beds open for that.

Found out the end December that I needed to have a hysterectomy. Just called last week to schedule mine the end of May. This is my last semester of school and I wanted to graduate before the surgery and so that my daughter was finishing school and near summer so I can have family come and help. I wonder if I have the longest time to wait since most are a month out. Although after this past week I wish I could have it done sooner!! I am having a total laproscopically (as long as there are not complications) due to reoccuring cysts, and tons of scar tissue that has everything stuck together making me sick all the time.
