Natural supplements to use while ovaries are in shock

I've been having awful hot flashes and mood swings this week. I'm wondering if anyone knows of natural supplements that will help balance hormones while I'm healing? Thanks!

How about DIM? I order Nature's Way via Amazon after my massage therapist told me about it. Dr. Oz even did a segment on its ability to balance hormones. It's not an overnight miracle, but some people see significant results within the first month. My PMS disappeared almost entirely and my periods, while just as heavy, were easier, less painful and a little shorter.

Re: Natural supplements to use while ovaries are in shock

I would ask your doc 1st, but I've been taking Meno-Balance, purchased online after reading favorable reviews. Waited a few days after surgery to start taking, so as not to aggravate any bleeding, blood-pressure, etc too soon after surgery.

It's a blend of B vitamins, herbs and other naturals. I am feeling really great post-op so far (2 1/2 weeks).

I will act as the human guinea pig for the sisters and let you all know if it continues to keep hot flashes, night sweats and severe mood swings at bay, or if it's been a waste of money and I'll have to do HRT or testerone or something anyway. lol Even if it works, there could still be the "placebo effect" at play and it works because I believe it will work...but I guess whatever works, eh?
