5 Weeks to go

Hi Ladies! I enjoy this site when I can view it. I'm 5 weeks away from my TVH/LSO. I'm 50 yrs old, had a mild stroke last year. Having lots of stress with work, DS coming home to live, etc. Hoping to stay well in the process. DH has been wonderful. I sleep as much as I can. I need prayers and any ideas to help during this waiting! Thanks. God Bless all of you dear ones!!

5 Weeks to go

Hi ScareTKat

You'll hear everyone say that waiting is the hardest part and truer words have never been spoken!

To keep my mind occupied in the weeks leading up to surgery I buried myself at work. I took on extra projects to make sure I stayed busy. Would that be something you can do without further stressing yourself out? If not, how about some fun projects at home to pass the time. Maybe you can do some re-decorating or catch up on your reading.

Something else you can do is prepare your home for after surgery. There are helpful hints for this sort of thing on the pre-op pull down menu:

I hope this helps!

ScareTKat,

I'll be praying for you. I know it's difficult waiting, but you will make it. Hang in there. Come here and post or stop in at chat. I spent a lot of time in the chat room and it helped a lot.

BTW, you should enter your surgery date in your profile. That way we know who is heading to the Castle on what day.

Blessings,
TC

Scartkat.... the waiting is the absolute worst part of the whole thing. I wish that we hadn't scheduled mine out so far. I wish also that I would have found this room and the chat room before surgery. That would have really helped me. But I am here now and try to help everyone on the road to princessdom. Also if you need someone to write to, please leave me a private message and I will try to get back to you...in fact I know that I will. I will be praying for you and I know that you will do great.
