TAH I finally did it!!!!

I made it through surgery with flying (sore) colors!!! I had put this off for far too long.
2 days before my procedure I got a reminder as to why I was doing this in the first place.... My period. My period thought "Oh, I'll make her miserable one more last time" That It did.... With a vengeance. I almost checked into the hospital early it was so bad. HOWEVER! I won this battle - my cantaloupe sized adenomyosos ridden uterus is gone!!! See ya. Thanks for nothing. Haha!
I'm in the hospital recovering in my room and I feel accomplished and proud of myself for finally taking this major step.

Awesome! Every month I kept thinking maybe my period will get better & I don't need to do this. My last period lasted 2 weeks with 3 days that I couldn't leave the house. Surgery was last Friday. Best decision I ever made! Hope your recovery is smooth!!

Congratulations -- as of today, I am EXACTLY one year out from mine, and believe me after not having a period for a year, you will feel ecstatic about it! It's like being let out of jail.
