stitches

Does anyone know of anything to soften the stitches or get them to dissolve faster? I got the permission from the doctor to have intercourse, and my stitches scratched my d b/f pretty badly. I called the surgeon and he knew of nothing to do for it but wait longer. This is frustrating because I'm ready now, and he's not!

The stitches are holding your repairs together and if they dissolve too soon, the repairs might not hold up correctly.

Anyway, I don't know of anything that would help them dissolve sooner. Anything that caustic would most likely NOT be good for your body tissues either.

They will most likely dissolve and this will not be an issue in the next couple of weeks.
