What to do about odor problem?

I am 4 months post op today and doing great. My only issue is I have an "unclean" odor and am not sure how to take care of it. I have never douched, but wonder if I should. I don't think it's any medical problem, but just normal body function. Any suggestions?

It could be a yeast infection. I would check with your doctor. (About douching -- doctors really poo-poo that these days. Douching can aggravate or bring on a yeast infection.) Maybe the discharge is due to the antibiotics you were on for the surgery and recovery -- antibiotics can bring on a yeast infection. A simple over-the-counter yeast cream is a quick and easy fix, but call your doctor first.

You should have no ordor. Check with a doctor for sure. I was surprised to notice after my TAH even the normal ordors were absent. Fresh as a daisy now!
