Upcoming hysterectomy 8/20: cyst and fibroids (feel swollen, achy and can't sleep well, any suggestions?)

i have my appt next week but everyday I feel worse. Everything feels swollen, I'm achy can't sleep well. Is these anything to take to feel better till I have the surgery. My dr will not discuss over the phone and don't want to schedule a appointment knowing I am going in next week. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am sorry you are not feeling well, and am sorry that your doctor will not discuss over the phone. Would he or she be willing to give you something to help you sleep?

Have you tried to walk, or do some other form of exercise? Sometimes exercise can help, and it can also take your mind off your surgery. Also, try to keep yourself very busy to keep your mind off your surgery. Hopefully these can reduce some stress to help with sleep.
