post-op exercise allowed

I believe I have read posts from ladies in the UK who recieved a visit from a physiotherapist while in the hospital. I would like to know if they had prescribed exercises such as abdominal muscle sets (isometric.) Any other exercises? It seems there should be something we can do to prevent muscle loss, if not true strengthening at this time.

I am 10 days out, TVH, doing well and walking to tolerance. Resting plenty.

Always check with your dr before beginning any type of excersie after a hyst. Even stretches could affect your recovery. Usually, only is okay for the first few weeks.
