Day 2/3 after surgery

Hello fellow sisters. I was in the hospital overnight, had a laproscopic hysterectomy and a cyst drained. I am feeling fine, as I was expecting the pain, swelling, gas bubbles and whatnot. I am only worried that I woke up this morning (and from my nap ) on my side. I'm assuming that if it didn't kill me from pain, it is ok to do. I woke up from a nap in the hospital because I was trying to turn on my side, so I think there is nothing stopping me, but I'm wondering if I'm hurting myself internally. Oh well, I'm going to be having another nap soon, as soon as I can get the fan turned on... I've read a bunch of post op threads and have felt reassured my most of them that things are normal, so thanks for the support!

Re: Day 2/3 after surgery

Good for you! Just continue to take it slow, rest as much as you can, drink your water, and walk when able. I hope your recovery continues to be uneventful. I know mine was!
