Re: Incontinence and pelvic pain 1 week post op

kdorsett that is great the doctor can order a test and have the results in a few hours. I hope everything starts to feel better an no further tests will be required. Sorry you had to call for more pain medication, I hope they haven't given you a hard time about that. Remember it requires less medication to keep pain managed than it does to catch up to uncontrolled pain.
The vaginal cuff is the top of the vagina when the remove the cervix. It is also referred to as the apex of the vaginal vault.

all4reading, sometimes my abdomen gets so sensitive even a bed sheet causes such pain. It often coincides with increased swelling but not always. The only thing that seems to help is cold pacs and the gentle circular massage after lying flat for hours. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with gas, bowels or eating. More just standing but I can wake up in the morning that way.

I can't understand any of this. I was so relying on having surgery this Tuesday. I still can't believe it has been cancelled. I hope the surgeons call with a new date tomorrow but I doubt it.

Hang in there ladies

So maybe mine will improve in the next week. Wow, that would be great! I've always felt something was a little off inside. I'm really interested to find out what they see. I'm getting more and more curious about the two red circular scars above my pubic bone. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't have a sling causing all the problem. From what I've read that is the markings of the sling surgery. Post op I thought I had incisions between my labia or near entrance to vagina. I never looked to sore to bother.
Keep feeling a bit better at a time.
