7 weeks & on the edge

Hello ladies,

I am seven weeks today and kinda feeling like I am on the edge. I want to cry tonight and haven't had much of that this entire time.

Put up the Christmas tree last night and dummy me lifted the bottom section into the stand. I realized after doing this that it was too heavy, but I did I know. I was cleared last Tuesday to start lifting as needed, but to be careful. My tummy bothered me the rest of the day and today it has been a constant nagging pain. Advil and Motrin did not help. Took a vicodin - and it made it a dull pain.

Too busy with the kids to stop and just started a long-term sub job last week. Don't want to call in a sub for the sub. Wouldn't look good and I would like to get a job there eventually.

Now I am tired and can't sleep. The insomnia and the night sweats are starting again like they were the 3rd week. I have one ovary - could this be a new 4 week cycle Even sex hurt last night and it was our 4th time since last Tuesday sorry

Not much any of you can do, but I needed to tell someone who would understand. Any thoughts? I was feeling great up until today and have been doing so well overall.

7 weeks & on the edge

I am sorry to hear you are not feeling good. It is not uncommon to feel your best where you are in recovery. I found I did not feel good till about 6 months. This was major surgery and it is such a shock to the body.

We are all different in how we heal and some of us need to take it slower than others and gradually take on more over a period of time.

Your ovary may not be fully functioning, as they can be in shock and cause symptoms of menopause.

If you find you are not dealing with things or having problems or concerns please talk to your dr so he can help you get through this time until you are feeling better.

Ronda,
Had my surgery a few days before you. Here with you feeling edgy and bad insomnia. Just started using progesterone cream 3 days ago and night sweats are gone, actually feeling cold now, orgasms are better, but probably need more time on it to work out the rest. Energy is rising slighly, but until the sleep gets better I don't think it will be up to par edge wise. Hang in there.

We had surgery on the same day and I totally understand what is happening with you because I am feeling the same way. My emotions are so out of control right now and I had to return to work a couple of days ago and I started crying and tried to stop which made me cry even harder. I was scared to death to go back to work and wanted to crawl into a hole and cover up! Insomnia is my new middle name! My tummy feels like somebody has kicked me from the inside out.

Hopefully it will be better soon! Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

I was a few days before you but know just what you mean. I had already finished menopause and I feel like I am right back there. I am emotional, grouchy, tired, not sleeping well. I go back to work Sunday and warned my boss that I am not myself. I cry over nothing and just feel like a mean nasty person! This is not a fun place to be!

ps...I did not feel this way until about 7 weeks and it has not gone away~

You need to give yourself a break. I felt horrible at 7 weeks and I am still not fully recovered. Thanksgiving week about killed me..but this week I am taking it easy.
