TVH 2 weeks 5 days post hysterectomy - get tired easily and a little achy when I've been up and about

I am currently 2 weeks 5 days out from TVH with rectocele and cystocele repair. I have been feeling great with the exception I get tired easily and a little achy when I've been up and about. I am driving short distance . I have had other friends with the surgery and they tell me I shouldn't be up and around and can't see any good reason to be laying around if I feel okay. Am I crazy for not wanting to be moving about? Anyone else been in this boat?

Typically recovery from a hysterectomy takes about six weeks - and that's just a simple hysterectomy, without the extra repair work you had done. You're not even halfway through your recovery, so take care of yourself and give your body all the rest it wants.

While I'm glad to hear that you're personal friends with Supergirl and Wonder Woman, that doesn't mean that you're going to recovery as quickly as they did.
