loss of appitite and just feel crummy

has anyone lost their appitite since tha?

Are you still taking pain meds? Maybe they taking your appetite away. In any event I think maybe you should give your doctor a call. Good luck and I hope you start to feel better soon.

Me, me, me! I totally lost my appetite after my TAH and even after being off of the painkillers! The most I ate was a couple of days ago when I finally increased from just eating one teeny bowl of soup per day! But this week I am back to the same no appetite of old and have to force myself to eat just a small bowl of soup! You're not alone!

I had somewhat of an appetite afterwards until last week, then all of sudden it went away. I usually feel like I am gonna be sick when I think about food, and then whammo I all of a sudden feel like I havent eaten in 3 days it is the strangest thing. I am so glad I am not the only one feeling like this.

I am still on pain meds but can't eat either. I have been depressed since my TAH so my hubby got me some ice cream which always cheers me up, but it made me even more sad when I couldn't even eat it! But I may lose some wight

My appetite still hasn't really rebounded. I thought it was because I caught the flu a week ago but now I know (thanks to you guys) it's probably a combo of the surgery and flu. I am not complaining, as I could stand to lose a few pounds.

No. I have an appetite, just I know if I eat I will swell up like a balloon and be uncomfortable. I used to eat 3 slices of pizza and then crazy bread, tonight, one small piece and I had to force that down. I do have to say this has been the greatest diet I have gone on. ha ha. After I eat it feels like everything is bloated and goes into my ribs.

I still don't really have an appetite. Some days I'll crave like ice cream but one bite and i'm done. I use to love ice cream. Maybe it's a good thing. I'm glad i'm not the only one.
