what's normal 2 weeks after hysterectomy?

My hyster will be 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Today I feel queasy, I'm pooping... It's not diarrhea but it's soft and unusually bad smelling (sorry)... And I'm in a lot of pain... I keep getting cramps between my vagina and stomach on the side with the two hills they drilled. The actual incisions are healing... But it hurts underneath.

Is this normal?

I am not sure if it is "normal"? But I too had the reallllllllly smelly BM's for almost 3 weeks. As for being so soft, that I have no clue. Mine have always been very soft.

I'm thinking the poo may be from eating a whole French silk pie on my own lol.

In a surprising twist... I randomly bumped into my surgeon. What are the odds? He said if I spike a fever he'd be more concerned... But if it still hurts make an apt tomorrow.

No fever, so I guess I'm okay lol.

(My mom and I saw a remote control plane we thought my nephew may love for his birthday... Stopped to ask about it... Turned out to be my surgeon flying it lol)

ROTFL Yes, that might be part of it. No worse than my 3rd day home and eating a bowl (HUGE bowl --for me, huge) of ice cream. Immediately felt like throwing up. ICK!

Some how I missed that you felt nauseous first read through. Oops. Yeah, just keep an eye out for fever if that keeps up.

A lot of women deal with constipation after surgery, but I experienced a reoccurrence of IBS and had more cramping and diarreah. I think the antibiotics you get in the hospital mess with your normal flora. Try some yogurt or probiotic pills to settle things down. You'll slowly get back to your normal. Also the inflammation causes a release of chemicals (prostaglandins) that can cause diarreah. Ibuprofen may help with that.
