TAH: operation date changed

I went to my pre-op today saw all the doctors ect but then she said we will see you on 20th I said NO my op date is booked for the 6th Jan after waiting what seemed like forever the nurse told me they had changed the date of my op Im just glad I found out before I turned up at half 7 in the morning for my op to be turned away ...

Im disappointed I had got everything sorted around the house and In my head Iv been so worried about going through this op but now I have to wait even longer but theres nothing I can do about it just have to wait (which is the worst bit about this) They also told me I would be keeping my overies but not sure what side effects I will get after my op..

Hi Amanda. My name is Vanetta, I am 45 years old. I know exactly what you mean. My surgery was originally scheduled for November of this year. But it was changed to February 13, 2012. I have been suffering with fibroids for 3 years now. They were causing me to bleed for two and three months straight. and they are causing a lot of pain. I am having a TVH but my doctor is keeping my ovaries. I am a little nervous, but I can't wait until this nightmare is over.

I know the feeling too. Mime was scheduled in nov...but the 1 robot in the hospital got busy w/er stuff...so they wanted to reschedule for mid-dec...i said no, not arpund holidays. I have 4 kids..couldn't pic that. Next day got my flo....
