lavh - spotting

I had LAVH on May 10 and have had no bleeding or spotting and today when I wiped there was a browny...pinkish tinge. I am also sore on one side and get worried when I read no baths yet my doctor has been fine with the baths. So I have had 2 and then I think he's wrong and I have an infection. I have mu ovaries...no cervix.

This is normal? Right?

I will only speak for me, but spotting weeks out is normal. Almost two months for me.Also I still have pain from my surgery. Your insides have been beat up.. Now check for infection, high temperature, heat at your incisions. It is ten days, you have much healing. If you are unsure, call your Drs office. Breath, you are with friends.

I have spoken with many sisters and experienced this myself. At 10 days post op it is normal to have tinged discharge and it may very well be your stitches starting to dissolve. The discharge when this happens is kind of a pale brown like washed out old blood. Just keep an eye out for signs of infection and see your doctor if there is a foul odor to the discharge. Keep up the good recovery!
