Spotting or mini-period?

I noticed some brown discharge yesterday. Today the discharge is bright/brownish red in color. It's been 29 days since my SAH. I retained both my cervix and ovaries.

Is this spotting or a mini-period? How can you tell the difference? Should I be concerned?

Spotting or mini-period?

its probably too soon to call it a mini period. write the dates down and how long it lasted and see if it happens again. i bled a month after my lsh and never did again. it could just be leftover blood.

Snibba

As ((dressedupinblue)) said, it's too early to say for sure that it's cyclical bleeding (mini-period). When the cervix is retained, the usual procedure is to cauterise it which prevents this for the majority and, hopefully, you'll fall into this category.

It wouldn't do any harm to mention this discharge to your doctor, however, who I hope will be able to re-assure you.

Sending all good wishes!
