Any one else have have lifetime weight restriction after prolapse?

My Dr said no lifting, pushing or pulling over 30 lbs from now on. Almost 11 wks post op. I had Uterine prolapse. Da Vinci Sacrocolpopexy. Uterus & tubes removed. Mesh attached to cervix.
Just started back with light weight lifting (5 lb free weights). Along w treadmill & eliptical. Bought a Marie Osmond bodygym resistant bar. Which is great. But hard to determine if its too much resistance. I dont feel like I am working hard. But in the back of my mind I am thinking "hope my bladder doesnt prolapse now".

Hi yes I was told not to lift anything morethan a few pounds for life ,cannot lift my grandchildren which is hard ,but after having several failed ops and ending up with the sacralcolpopexy 18months ago and still get sore internal pulling pains I certainly don't want to jepordise things .Jibby p xxx

I haven't had a prolapse but do have a lifetime restriction on weights etc for other reasons. It's a pain but on the positive side I haven't even tried to vacuum for close to 20yrs!
