i woke up this morning crying. took the dogs out for the normal routine and felt like i was dripping. looked down and dear loving aunt flo decided to raise her ugly head. not having much pain yet but i am just waiting. thinking the stress of worrying about surgery and wondering what it will be like when i come home is really getting to me. not feeling very well at all either. i only have 10 more days, but right now it feels like a life time. supposed to go tanning again today but if i dont feel better then i am not going to go. sorry i just had to vent. but on the bright side this should be the last one i ever have. i cant wait.

Tami,
Hang in there. I was scheduled so I had a 3 week wait and it was killing me. The anticipation, the nerves, the whole bit. I called my DR to see if I could move up the date and to my suprise I they moved up the surgery for that week! Instead of having 3 weeks to prep, I had 3 DAYS!! yikes! But it was the best because it was all over before I had time to worry. Maybe see if they can move up your date. Don't worry about recovery and being home. I'm finding the biggest challenge is not to over-do. I feel great and I want to do it all but I'm only 3 weeks post op and know that it is to soon, no matter how good I feel I can't garden just yet. The funny thing is, before surgery everyone told me I would be so glad and I would feel like a new woman. I didn't have a clue what they were talking about...now I do and I am glad it's over and I really feel like a new woman. Makes me wonder if Shania Twain had a hyst. before writing her song.."I feel like a woman" LOL Anyway, I've rambled enough. Good luck prayers are with you!

Tami,

I know how you are feeling, although my mothly friend has not decided to take a hike yet. I mean she leaves for a day or 2, but she ends up coming right back unannounced. Then Wench, I just wish she would leave, she knows she is not wanted. But she is hanging around like a sore thumb, I think she we stay until thr dr evicts her home.

I know you don't feel like it right now, but go tanning, you might feel a little better after. The warmth will feel good. I tan, and someimtes on my bad days, it feels good to just go in and relax for 20 min. I use the bed though.
