I've lost my mind

I'm scheduled for TVH on Monday March 1st. Of all questions not to ask - how long will I be out of work? I have asked every question - how long surgery,what will he remove, how long in hospital but I forgot to ask how long before I can work. Will I look like a complete idiot if I call his office today and ask that question - 2nd I wanted to talk to the doctor about inconstinence which we've discussed in the past but I wanted to see if he could/should/or would fix my bladder at the same time. Is it too late to ask?

I think you better call your Dr right away with your questions. If you need some sort of bladder repair you may need to see a urologist. If you do need repairs, you would definitely want to get them done at the same time.
