swelling and tenderness around upper ribs

has anyone experienced selling and sensitivity around upper rib cage under breast before surgery?

Yes on my left side. This past weekend it was so bad I felt like I had been kicked in the ribs. It hurt if I took a deep breath, if I turned wrong and if I ate.. oh boy I felt like I had no more room for my lungs to expand. I felt bloated and so uncomfortable if I had to bend down for anything. I think I even posted with this complaint this past weekend. I finally found some relief with a heating pad on my back and Ibuprofen and gas-x just for in case it was gas maybe? I don't know which helped or if it was a combo of all but did get a little better not as sore.
