TVH Ovarian cysts one year after surgery!

For someone whose had TVH exactly one year ago today, I'm wondering if anyone else was currently diagnosed with ovarian cysts a year or so after your hysterectomy? I've heard that a hysterectomy causes ovarian cysts because the blood supply is cut off to the ovaries during the hysterectomy. If you have or have had ovarian cysts, could you let me know your story. Thanks all.

I had a TAH kept ovaries Aug 2010. I had cysts at that time but the Dr decided to leave the ovaries. April 2013 I had both ovaries removed due to cysts.

My cysts are 3 centimeter and the other is smaller. My gyno wants to "wait and watch" and then do another vaginal ultrasound in 3 months. But I think that is too long to wait. Plus I'm having the lower abdominal pain and low back pain along with bloating, weight gain. . . Were your cysts larger and that's why the ovaries were removed? I don't want my cysts to burst, like I've read about before. Also, my gyno said to quit reading the internet and that I do not need to know the details.
But I am proactive and always try to get all the info I need. Thanks for your help.

The Dr had been monitoring the cysts for quite some time. I also had another medical situation going on. I found out in the fall of 2012 that I had breast cancer. After my treatments(surgery and radiation) I was put on Tamoxifen. The Dr said she could have just continued monitoring but she said the best option was to remove the ovaries. I just turned 50.

I have the same problem 4 years after the TAH and I have no overies but a piece of one fallopian tube where I grew two cysts one 8 cm and the other 3 , and the doctor said since the liquid in them is clear , so no need to be scared and I did some tests of hormones to indicate any cancers , the there were none discovered so, he told me this is natural in some cases , forget it and keep monitoring every half year

Unbelievable, i'm reading and just so upset for all of you and possibly me what the heck its not enough going through 1 hysterectomy all the pain and changes that come with this surgery to only find out that it has to be done again! God so upsetting God help us all. I'm only 4 months since davinci my gyno told me after surgery that he looked at my ovaries and they were healthy. So how can he now have me scheduled for an ultrasound to see if I have cyst in my right ovary since I am having pain there but that pain was there from the beginning after surgery got better around 3 months and has been back since 2 weeks or so.
