help please--acne after hysterectomy

I am 32 and I had a full hysterectomy almost a year ago now the back of my neck along my jawline and my neck breaks out really bad it is starting to ruin my life and I feel really ugly about it can someone please tell me what to do

I have no idea, but could be from hormones? I would go to a bioidential hormone Dr and have a FULL blood panel done.

Are you on HRT?

Have you seen a dermatologist or brought this up to your Gyn?

I think I know what you're talking about. .I have it at times too and I do think it is hormone related

No I'm not taking the med the Dr gave me . They made me sick . But I am taking Estrogen over the counter

I have been suffering with terrible hormonal acne once all my gyno issues began. After over a year, lots of money spent on acne products, and a lot of acne scarring, I went to my primary care physician in tears and he prescribed me Clindamycin (antibiotic lotion) and also Retin A (for night but I don't use it) and an OTC Benzoyl Peroxide 5% wash and it cleared up in less than a week. It changed my life. My face is no longer in pain from cystic acne.

What are you getting? I really hope you find a resolution. I truly do feel your pain. I woke up every day afraid to see what was waiting for me in the mirror.

Also I wanted to add that the many gynos I saw and complained about my acne did not care. Their specialty is the female reproductive system and that was all they were willing to treat for me.

I wish that I had saw my dr sooner about my acne. It is an awful insult to injury to deal this on top of everything else, especially when you have never suffered acne in your entire life.
