hi all...

i came home today from hospital from having a lavh/bso...im still hurting alot but thats normal..my question is ...is it normal not to feel when you have to pee...i cant tell at all when i have to go pee i dont have an urge. i make myself go to the bathroom and when i sit down i start to go alot but there is no URGE.

Yes that is totally normal why I don't know, but I had the same thing and it was about a week and half before the feeling came back. Don't worry just rest!!!

I had the exact same surgery you did but I cant say that I had that feeling..I knew I had to pee once they took my cath out..and thanks to the iv fluids I was going every 2 hours...
i ve been home 5 days and can say that I am doing great...I feel really good today...

My dr said it was because of the trauma to the bladder and the effects of the anesthesia. Don't worry. You WILL regain the urge and then, look out! Good luck to all and it gets better! I'm almost 4 months out and feeling better than EVER!
