Had 7 week checkup today but have questions

I had a 7 week checkup this morning. Surgery was robotic hysterectomy, left one ovary took everything else. My doctor is nice but I was left feeling a little lost. I'm having hormonal issues like crying, flashes of anger also pain at incision sites and now my left ovary is hurting since I've been home. It's like it's angry or something. The doc said he didn't think it was menopause because I'm not have hot flashes or problems sleeping. I have low thyroid for which I take Synthroid. They took blood to check thryoid levels. Is there anything else it could be? Thank you so much for any help!!!

Re: Had 7 week checkup today but have questions

Did your doctor do some tests to find out what your hormone levels are? You can have some of the symptoms of menopause and not others. If you can't get answers from him, go to your PCP and get a second opinion.

Re: Had 7 week checkup today but have questions

I had one ovary removed a couple weeks ago. I am also having some hormonal issues. At my 2 week post op, doctor said to wait until about 5 or 6 months after to give my remaining ovary a chance to catch up on production. If I am still having trouble then we will check my hormone levels.
