Questions about symptoms

Hi Ladies,

I think Autumnlady hit the nail on the head for me. I can just see me opening my eyes and the doc saying - by the way that was the most healthy uterus/cervix/ovary I have ever seen. What was I thinking??
I have always done what my body told me - when I was pregnant in 1998 I had a check up and I was spotting - the doctor said oh you are ok - he did a regulr vaginal exam and scheduled me for my ultra sound - I kept bleeding and bleeding and felt so stupid - I could not be ok - I got in my truck and I was driving to ER and a little voice kept saying "why are you going? The doc said you are fine" I just kept driving thinking there has to be a reason - I was taken back and during the ultrasound the tech ran out got a doc and they wheeled me to the operating room I had an eptopic and my ovary had burst and my tube was bleeding - I almost died.
So I guess having him tell me it was healthy is better than leaving it in there for something bad to be unknown? I guess that is the way I need to think.

I must say this is a wonderful message board and I do appreciate everyones posts - I know I am not the only one with fear and worries!

I know this is a good choice although, I fear for the nurses in the recovery - I hear I pack quite a kick when waking! I really kicked one of them hard one time. I warn them now!

I sure hope everyones surgeries/recovery/choices are good and that everything works out for the best.
I know I too am not the same girl I used to be. I have had headaches daily, bloating and cramps like no other. I feel like I cannot lose weight because I am always on and bloated - when I do try here comes another wave of cravings and water retention.

Thanks for all the wonderful posts!!!!

Stacy
