HRT how long?

I had a hysterectomy/oophorectomy over 10 years ago.
How long should I continue with HRT? Currently use .1 Vivelle patch small amount of testosterone - I am 57 years and do not know where to find a health care person who really knows what to do!!

I had my tah/bso in 1999, I am still using hormones. If you're doing well, there really is no need to stop. Personally, at this point, I am not willing to give it up as I am doing really well hormonally. No mood swings, no hot flashes, no night sweats, etc. I really don't want to go down that road again. I have heard of women taking ert well into their 80's.

That is what I was hoping to do! I stopped using progesterone due to fear, and do not feel as good as I used to. Can you recommend a book, and/ or way to find a healthcare professional who is knowledgable? Thank you so much.
