hello everyone.............. I was so happy to find this site. I am due to have my surgery on Friday 2/27/04. I have a small question. My period was to start this week but so far nothing. Will my surgery have to be post poned if it starts next week and is still present on my surgery date?

Good question! I wondered the same thing, but fortunately my nerves prevented me from ever getting another period. I believe they go ahead with the surgery regardless, but let's wait and see what other HysterSisters have to say.
Good luck to you!

Hi

Welcome to Hystersisters!

Typically your period isn't a problem as far as surgery is concerned. If you're worried call your DR and ask, but for a lot of ladies trying to schedule around a period can be pretty hard to do!

Best wishes!
